Overview
Metropolitan Funeral Service is looking for a Funeral Attendant II. We have an immediate opening for a Funeral Attendant that wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. We are looking for hearse & limousine drivers that have strong customer service skills and can work successfully with other team members.

Responsibilities
- Handle all deceased in a respectful manner while performing a variety of tasks and preparation required for human remains final disposition consistent with state, federal and local laws, and Metropolitan's mission and values and adherence to Metropolitan's policies and procedures, which includes but not limited to:
- Removals - performs removals of deceased from hospital, nursing home, residence or airports to transport to one of our funeral homes.
- Maintains and ensures removal vehicles are clean inside and out and is properly maintained, maintains adequate supply of Personal Protective Equipment in removal vehicles.
- Dressing and casketing of human remains before shipping, viewing or ceremony.
- Cremation - preparing remains for cremation, including casketing or cremation container.
- Compliance - secure paperwork and identification procedures including verifying identification of the deceased verifying authorization for embalming and/or cremation ,maintain logs/reports and required reports, maintain all chain of custody paperwork.
- Environment - promotes a safe work environment by practicing self-awareness, self- regulation , social skills and universal precautions and adopting general principles of safe conduct in maintaining the crematorium, embalming facilities and dressing rooms.
- Transport - deliver and release casketed and uncasketed, cremated remains and, or flowers to appropriate funeral home , church , cemetery or to the proper authority.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Applicants must have a flexible schedule, professional appearance, good attitude, and be a team player. The candidate must share in the idea of maintaining a premier level of customer satisfaction.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
