Reporting Responsibility - Reports to the President of Doric Products
Role & Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager seeks long term growth of the Doric network and advancing the brand recognition and utilization throughout North America with Funeral Service Professionals.
Duties of the Business Development Manager include, but are not limited to;
I. Assisting current locations in the development of growth plans by implementing enhancements in their sales and marketing processes.
II. Identifying new market areas and developing a strategy to initiate new Doric territories.
III. Assist those in existing territories with developing exit strategies who will accept support.
IV. Seek new revenue streams to support the growth initiatives of Doric Products.
Job Qualifications
Experience:
5 years sales and marketing experience with emphasis on building plans for growth and support with existing businesses. Experience in the Death Care industry is preferred. Construction experience would be helpful.
Skills:
The ability to collaborate with business owners and develop realistic goals and understanding the underlying processes needed to build a plan for improvement.
Coaching the success of other sales professionals to achieve measurable results.
Self-Starter with proven time management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with key business partners and customers.
Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft applications.
Excellent public speaking skills.
Education:
4 Year degree in business is preferred.
