Licensed Embalmer/Funeral Director

Dakota Embalming & Transport Service (DE&TS) has an opening for a Licensed Embalmer. Responsibilities include removals, embalming and crematory operations. This position is full-time with rotational on-call duties. The position offers a set schedule, paid time off, a retirement plan, and other benefits. DE&TS offers very competitive compensation based on experience.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• A degree in Mortuary Science

• A license to embalm in SD (or be able to obtain alicense to embalm in SD) and adhere to allprofessional, state and federal licensing regulations

• A driver’s license with acceptable driving record

• Be able to pass a background check

• A professional appearance with no visible tattoos and facial piercings

• Physically capable of heavy lifting and keeping up with a fast-paced work environment
