The Role: You'll guide Evansville-area families from first call through final tribute—funeral, cremation, or burial—all at our single, integrated location. No shuffling families between facilities. No corporate playbook. Just compassionate, professional care delivered the way it should be.
Because we're the area's only combined funeral home and cemetery, you'll master skills many directors never touch. Arrange a traditional funeral one day, coordinate a green burial the next, then guide a family through cremation memorialization. You'll see every service through, start to finish.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct arrangement conferences and direct services across all formats
- Coordinate cremation services and work with our on-site cemetery team
- Support families through pre-planning and at-need arrangements
- Build relationships with families who return for generations
- Represent Sunset in the community with integrity and warmth
You might be right for this if you:
- Hold (or can obtain) an Indiana Funeral Director license
